  • Steel drums

    • I always recommend that the student becomes proficient on the three main areas of percussion (snare drum, timpani and mallets). Topics to be covered include:

  • Reading
  • improvisation
  • ensemble playing
  • sight reading
  • music theory

  • ability to follow conductor and/or play with a click track

    • College credit available thru Pima Community College.
